SpeechPlus, Inc. (“Speech+,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Speech+ mobile application and web platform (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18.
3. Description of Service
Speech+ is an AI-powered voice practice and coaching platform. Users practice real-world conversations — including job interviews, networking, dating, and sales calls — with AI coaches and receive post-session scoring and feedback.
4. Account Responsibilities
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at help@speechplus.io if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Speech+ offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and processed by Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; (c) transmit harmful, abusive, threatening, or objectionable content; (d) interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service; (e) use the Service to develop a competing product; or (f) use automated means to access the Service without our permission.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by SpeechPlus, Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your practice session content remains yours, but you grant us a limited license to process it solely for delivering the Service.
8. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate conversation responses, feedback, and scores. AI-generated content is for practice and educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional, medical, legal, or financial advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.
9. Human Coaching Sessions
If you purchase a session with a human recruiter or coach, that session may be recorded or the coach may have access to session transcripts to provide feedback. These sessions are clearly identified in the App before you begin.
10. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile section of the app. Account deletion is permanent and will remove your personal data and session history in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Active subscriptions should be canceled before account deletion.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpeechPlus, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SpeechPlus, Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
